What Is Managed Services?

 

We have invested in the latest software technology that enables us to monitor and maintain your computer network, servers and workstations 24/7. If issues arise the system alerts us before there are any major meltdowns. We have our “finger on your network’s pulse!”

 

Regular Maintenance (which probably is not being done currently), is automatically scheduled for after-hours to avoid any user disruption during the day. Patches, Updates and Tune-ups all completed when your computer is not in use.

 

Audit and Inventory – Hardware specifications, serial numbers and software licences are all compiled into one report for easy access when you need this information.

 

Remote Assistance directly from our helpdesk when you need instant help. At your request we can remotely control your desktop to assist you.

 

Patch Management alerts us when new patches are available for your machines, which we can push out automatically.

 

Application Blocking – yes we can block individual websites, applications (like MSN Messenger), access to files etc on individual machines at your request.

 

Application Changes – Every new software application installed reports back to our system, so if a staff member installs Limewire for downloading music (for example), we will know.

 

Server Uptime – Your Server goes offline = we are alerted by our system and ready for action.

 

Disk Utilisation – If your hard drives are filling up, we are alerted at 20% free, then again at 10% free.  This can eliminate system crashes due to limited available space.

 

Reports – Every month we produce a report with your “Network Health Score” to give you a snapshot of the overall health of the network.
